Marleah brings 17 years of nonprofit experience to her position at Feeding Louisiana, 12 of which were spent working with Food Bank Programs and Agency Relations. She is from Grand Rapids, Michigan, and graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in Family and Community Service. She then earned a master’s degree in social work from LMSW (LSU). Marleah has a passion for helping expand the state’s SNAP, SNAP ED, Child Nutrition, and Senior programs. She lives in Shreveport with her husband, 10-year-old son, and their pet bird and dog. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, music, and spending time with family and friends.
